Women's Seminar & Retreat

Don’t miss the opportunity to grow your knowledge, be inspired, feel empowered and connect with other women in agriculture. Join us for this year’s Women’s Seminar, presented by Compeer Financial®.

Taking a day away from your farm, job and/or family to invest in yourself is important, and we believe you deserve it. For your convenience, 12 meeting dates and locations are being offered across Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

New this year: We’re also offering a Women’s Retreat!

Hosted at a beautiful venue, this two-day event focuses on community building, self-reflection, personal growth and learning. You’ll deepen your networks and relationships through a framework of shared language that’s built throughout the retreat. And you’ll leave with an enhanced ability to create positive impacts on your farm, with your family and in your community. Learn More!

Agenda

* Please note the seminar in Mankato is an evening event. Registration and social time begins at 4:00 p.m. with closing remarks at 8:30 p.m.

8:30 a.m. | REGISTRATION
9:00 a.m. | WELCOME
9:15 a.m. | MANAGING REACTIONS
Have you ever looked back at how you reacted to something and wondered “what just happened?” Life can be both wonderful and challenging—all within the span of minutes. We’ll explore how to improve your self-awareness so you can show up as your best self. You’ll also learn what causes you stress and how to manage those triggers.

10:45 a.m. | BREAK
11:00 a.m. | MASTERING THE MARKETS
We’ll explore the unique behavioral economics of the grain markets with an interactive, hands-on grain marketing scenario. In this complex industry, it’s important to understand the decision-making process and how some sources of risk can be conquered.

12:00 p.m. | LUNCH
12:45 p.m. | FINDING PERFECTION IN IMPERFECTION
To end our time together we’ll be motivated, inspired and entertained as we take some time to talk about the frenzied world of agriculture and how we can manage our stress. We’ll also understand the importance of our imperfections—and the imperfections of those around us—as we work toward becoming our most authentic selves.
